Dr Martens x The MET
Dr Martens collaboration with National Gallery The MET. This collection used Hokusai, Japanese woodblock printing artworks across the famous DM silhouettes. A part of this launch led to researching into the craft and practice of Hokusai and with this resulted in an additional piece of content for the collection involving artist Hiroko Imada. They spoke further about their craft and Hokusai as a whole whilst creating the Dr Martens and The MET collaboration lockup and printing this in the woodblock style to generate hype and educate for excited fans.
